Vindex has acquired Belong Gaming Arenas brand and all associated IP from GAME DIGITAL LIMITED ("GAME"), the largest video games retailer in the UK and Spain. The company has also established long term, exclusive partnerships with industry leading esports organizations – Envy Gaming, Inc. of Dallas, and Andbox, New York's first and leading esports organization. 

 

Vindex is backed by a number of undisclosed investors. The company raised $300M (£232M) in new round on Jul 29, 2020. This brings Vindex's total funding to $380M to date. Vindex will utilise the investment and Belong Gaming acquisition to open 500 esports venues in the United States, with a further 1,000 worldwide, with the majority set to be located within Europe.
