Truphone, formerly known as Software Cellular Network Ltd, is a GSMA accredited global mobile network that operates its service internationally.

TruPhone provides voice and data services for phones, tablets and IoT hardware by way of eSIM software integrated directly into the devices

TruPhone was founded in 2006 by James Tagg, Alexander Straub, Alistair Campbell and Levi Reis. The company is headquartered in London, we have 12 offices across four continents and continue to expand globally.

 

Truphone offers SIM-based GSM mobile services to both businesses and individuals, mobile phone calls and SMS recording services for businesses, remote SIM provisioning and related services, and has a customer base that includes more than 3,500 multinational enterprises in 196 countries.

Truphone also enables other mobile operators to rapidly roll out support for eSIM enabled devices. With Truphone, enterprises and individuals are benefiting from their international SIM cards and worldwide subscriptions, providing global mobility.

The company raised a new £30M, valuing Truphone at £410M ($38Mn at a $516M valuation) on Apr 14, 2020. This brings TruPhone's total funding to $584.5M to date.
