TBM is the creator of LIMEX, a revolutionary new material made from limestone, that can become an alternative to plastic and paper.

TBM develops and sells materials made from limestone and resins as alternatives to plastic and paper.

TBM was founded in 2011 by Momo Nakatani, Sakamoto Koji, Sumi Yuichiro, Tetsuya Imamura and Yamasaki Nobuyoshi. The company is headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

 

TBM's LIMEX has been introduced at international conferences, such as COP and G20. LIMEX is patented in over 40 countries, and is used in over 6,000 companies and organizations.

 

TBM also created CirculeX, a material that promotes resource recycling, was born so that plastic products can be properly recycled. TBM's MaaR is a service that coordinates the resource recycling of used LIMEX products and plastic products in response to the problems of waste plastics that have become problems in Japan and overseas.

 

TBM is backed by ITOCHU Corporation, Goldman Sachs, SK Group, SK Siltron, Shinsei Corporate Investment, Nanto Bank, Toppan Printing, and others. The company raised 140B won ($123.7M) in new round on Jul 01, 2021. This brings TBM's total funding to $224.3M to date. The latest round valued TBM at over $1B post-money.
