Slingshot launched Slingshot Beacon, an orbital collision avoidance program that “connects commercial, government and civil customers on one platform to better design, manage, and safeguard their satellites and other assets; mitigate risks; and ensure safe and reliable operations for all spaceflight operators.”


Slingshot Aerospace’s customers include NASA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, the U.S. Space Force, the U.S. Air Force and OneWeb.


Slingshot is backed by Draper Associates, ATX Venture Partners, Edison Partners, Techstars Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Okapi Venture Capital, and others. The company raised $25M in an oversubscribed Series A round on Mar 10, 2022. This brings the total funding raised by Slingshot to $44.5M to date.
