Samotics was founded in 2015 by Gerben Gooijers, Jasper Hoogeweegen, Maarten Keller, and Simon Jagers. The company is headquartered in Leiden, Netherlands.

 

Samotics has developed an AI-powered SaaS platform that analyses the current and voltage signals emitted by electric-driven motor systems, with a specific focus on those operating in heavy industry applications, i.e. submerged pumps, hot strip mills, and the like.

 

Samotics' flagship product, SAM4, an end-to-end asset health monitoring system that helps you reduce risk, lower costs, save energy and eliminate unplanned downtime. Through machine learning and electrical signature analysis, SAM4 offers superior fault detection accuracy.

 

Samotics is active across five continents for more than 100 customers—helping them reduce risk, lower costs, save energy and put an end to unplanned downtime. Customers include Vopak, Schiphol, Nouryon and ArcelorMittal.
