Redefine Meat

Redefine Meat, formerly known as Jet Eat, is leading a technological revolution in the food industry by creating “craveable” animal-free meat using proprietary industrial 3D printers.

Redefine Meat is applying proprietary 3D printing technology, meat digital modeling, and advanced food formulations to produce animal-free meat with the appearance, texture and flavor of whole muscle meat.

Redefine Meat was founded in 2018 by Ben-Shitrit and Adam Lahav. The company is headquartered in Rehovot, Rehovot, Israel.

Redefine Meat created digital processes to produce sustainable, high-protein, no-cholesterol, plant-based meat alternatives that taste like real meat, and have the correct texture to boot by layering embedded properties like flavor and color.

Redefine Meat announced a strategic agreement with Israeli meat distributor Best Meister, which will help rollout its product into restaurants and butchers within the next few months.

Redefine Meat’s products are already served in 200 restaurants in Israel. It has made inroads into foreign markets by catering for the Google, Apple and Facebook (Meta) offices, as well as restaurants in the U.K., Germany and the Netherlands.

Redefine is backed by Happiness Capital, Hanaco Ventures, Synthesis Capital, Losa Group, Sake Bosch, K3 Ventures, and others. The company raised $135M in Series B round on Jan 24, 2022. This brings Redefine's total funding to $170M to date.
