RapidAPI

RapidAPI is the world’s largest API Hub where millions of developers discover and connect to APIs, and where the largest companies find, manage and collaborate on their internal and external APIs.

RapidAPI makes it easier to find, connect to, and manage APIs across multiple cloud environments - from the world’s largest API Hub.

RapidAPI was founded in Israel in 2015 by Iddo Gino. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California, with offices in Tel Aviv, Tallinn, and Berlin.

RapidAPI offers RapidAPI Enterprise Hub, a private, customizable version of the public hub that enables the company’s developers, customers, and partners to find, manage, and connect to hundreds of internal APIs, as well as external API subscriptions.

RapidAPI’s approach is to create a framework that not only helps you find the API you are looking for, but lets you integrate them more easily by way of a single API key and SDK. It covers both free and paid APIs, and public as well as “private” APIs.

RapidAPI grew its developer community to 4M developers and has seen tremendous adoption by Global 2000 enterprises. Contributors to its marketplace include Microsoft, Twilio, SendGrid, Nexmo, Skyscanner etc.

RapidAPI is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, DNS Capital, M12 (Microsoft’s Venture Fund), Stripes, Qumra, Viola Growth, Green Bay, Grove Ventures, and others. The company raised $150M in Series D round on Mar 23, 2022. This brings RapidAPI's total funding to $272.5M to date. The latest round mints RapidAPI a unicorn with a valuation of $1B post-money.
