Pluang, formerly known as EmasDigi, is a financial technology application that opens public access opportunities to financial products easily and affordably.

Pluang was founded in 2019 by Claudia Kolonas and Richard Chua. The company is headquartered in Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia.

 

Pluang started with gold and has since grown its range of asset classes, so investors can diversify their holdings and decrease risk. Investments can start as low as IDR 10,000 (or less than $1 USD) in gold, indexes, mutual funds and crypto assets.

 

Pluang app is also launching new features that will allow users to invest in fractional U.S. stocks. Pluang is integrated in Indonesian super apps like Gojek, DANA, Tokopedia and Bukalapak.

 

Pluang is trusted by leading big tech companies in Indonesia including GoInvestasi by Gojek, Dana eMAS by Dana and BukaEmas by Bukalapak. The company now claims 3.5 million registered users in Indonesia.

 

Pluang is backed by Accel, Square Peg, Openspace Ventures, Susquehanna International Group (SIG), UOB Venture Management, Go Ventures, and others. The company raised $55M in new financing on Jan 12, 2022. This is an extension of $35M Series B round raised in Sep 2021, bringing the round total to $90M. The additional investment brings Pluang's total funding to $113M to date.
