Orka's first product, Orka Works (formerly Broadstone), allows workers to quickly and easily find fair and flexible temporary employment with large organisations working in traditional, regulated industries such as security, cleaning and logistics.
Orka also offer Orka Pay, which enables shift workers at partner organisations to withdraw up to 50% of their wages as soon as they have earned them, providing an alternative to high-interest loans and credit card debt.
Orka currently works with over half of the UK’s top 30 security companies, including leading names such as G4S, ISS and Wilson James. More than 60,000 people already use Orka’s products and, over the last four years.
Orka is backed by Sonovate, British Business Bank Future Fund, Maven Capital Partners, Praetura Ventures, and others. The company raised £3M in a new financing on Mar 31, 2022. This brings Orka's total funding to £33.7M to date.
