Nuvemshop

Nuvemshop, also known as Tiendanube in Spanish speaking countries, is a platform for e-commerce dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and SMEs to create their own virtual store.

Nuvemshop is the technological platform that makes the consolidation of any business possible through e-commerce.

Nuvemshop was founded in 2011 by Santiago Sosa, Alejandro Vazquez, Martin Palombo and Alejandro Alfonso. The company is headquartered in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, with offices in Mexico and Argentina.

Nuvemshop's platform accelerates a company’s digital transformation and has enabled thousands of SMBs across Latin America to go digital by tapping into the company’s one-stop shop of seamlessly integrated solutions.

Nuvemshop plans to launch a payment processing and logistics gateway of its own. That marketplace will give customers access to more robust shipping solutions thanks to the power of bundling lower demand into a single delivery and ordering system.

Nuvemshop's platform serves more than 90,000 merchants across Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina, ranging from direct-to-consumer (DTC) upstarts to an expanding roster of dominant brands such as PlayMobil, Billabong, Colombraro, Zaira Beauty, Osram, Lolja, Vitabe and StrappyCo.

Nuvemshop is backed by Insight Partners, Tiger Global Management, Qualcomm, Accel, Kaszek Ventures, FJ Labs, IGNIA, Alkeon, Owl Rock, and others. The company raised $500M in Series E round on Aug 17, 2021. This brings Nuvemshop's total funding to $628.4M to date. The new round gives the company a valuation of over $3.1B post-money.
