Little Leaf Farms

Little Leaf Farms is a greenhouse-grown lettuce producer committed to delivering the freshest, best tasting baby greens to New England salad lovers all year round.

Little Leaf Farms is on a mission to transform the way food is grown through peri-urban agricultural practices that are rebuilt for the modern world.

Little Leaf Farms was founded in 2015 by Paul Sellew, with support from Tim Cunniff. The company is headquartered in Devens, Massachusetts.

Little Leaf uses advanced greenhouse technologies to grow fresh, sustainably farmed lettuce 365 days a year. The company utilizes captured rainwater, natural sunlight that shines through high transmission glass, and solar-powered energy in their precise, soil-less hydroponic farming.

Little Leaf Farms employs hydroponic production for its lettuce that is grown under glass and uses captured rainwater, natural sunlight, up to 90% less water than field-grown greens and solar panels to generate electricity.

Little Leaf Farms produces more than 7 million boxes of lettuce each month. Its lettuce products are available in more than 3,500 grocery stores.

Little Leaf is backed by TPG's The Rise Fund, Bank of America, Equilibrium Capital, Coppermine Capital,Pilot House Associates, and others. The company raised $300M in a new financing on Jun 15, 2022. This brings Little Leaf's total funding to $435M to date.
