IPrice is an online aggregator that simplifies a consumer's shopping experience by allowing them to browse for products and compare prices from various online stores.
iprice provides the service of hosting products from several Southeast Asian e-commerce sites on one platform. With claims that it is more than just a price-comparison site as it focuses more on the discovery of products rather than the price of the products, how the site works is that it narrows down the vast volume of products (via a search and filter interface) to find products that would suit the consumer'ss preferences.
IPrice was founded in October 2014 and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company has expanded in the same year it was founded and became an active player in the e-commerce industry of six other countries: Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
iPrice Group operates three business lines at the moment: price comparison for electronics, health and beauty; product discovery for fashion and home and living; and coupons for all verticals.
iPrice Group is backed by Cento Ventures, Venturra Capital, ACA Investments, Daiwa PI Partners, LINE Ventures, Mirae Asset-Naver Asia Growth Fund and others. The company raised $10M in a Series B round on Feb 2020. This brings iPrice's total funding to $19.8M to date.
