Helm.ai

Helm.ai is a provider of next-generation AI software for autonomous driving and automation of robotics.

Helm.ai is developing software designed for advanced driver assistance systems, autonomous driving and robotics.

Helm.ai was founded in 2016 by Tudor Achim and Vladislav Voroninski. The company is headquartered in Menlo Park, California.

Helm.ai licenses AI software throughout the L2-L4 autonomous driving stack: perception, intent modeling, path planning and vehicle control. Helm.ai uses an unsupervised learning approach to develop software that can train neural networks without the need for large-scale fleet data, simulation or annotation.

Helm.ai's Deep Teaching technology allows them to quickly deliver best-in-class AI software to OEMs and Tier 1s in a hardware-agnostic fashion, accelerating their time to market and enabling their path to software differentiation with high-end ADAS and L4 systems.

Helm.ai has attracted a number of customers, including the Japanese automotive company Honda. Helm is also exploring applying its technology to other domains, including aviation, consumer and industrial robotics, construction and mining, retail automation, and health care.

Helm.ai is backed by ACVC Partners, Freeman Group, Amplo, Honda Motor, Mando Corporation, Goodyear Ventures, Sungwoo Hitec, Binnacle Partners, Sound Ventures, Fontinalis Partners, SV Angel, OneWay Ventures, A.Capital Ventures, and others.
