Halan is a ride-hailing/on-demand-logistics application offering smart transportation for the masses.

Halan is the first Egyptian application for ride-hailing and delivery in the easiest way possible.

Halan was founded in 2017 by Mounir Nakhla and Ahmed Mohsen. The company is headquartered in Zamalek, Giza, Egypt.

Halan's mission is to fulfill all of our customers’ needs for daily transportation and delivery services using one platform that is active in both Egypt and Sudan.

Halan's fleet consists of two-wheelers (motorcycles) and three-wheelers, known as Tuk Tuk. Their services is currently available across Egypt only.

 

Halan is also considered one of the fastest-growing start-ups in Africa as it has achieved one million app downloads since its launch in 2017. From this day onwards, Halan is considered the first app that combines ease and comfort in traffic.

 

Halan is backed by Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP), Battery Road Digital Holdings, Algebra Ventures and others. The company raised $15M in a Series B financing on Jan 24, 2020. This brings Halan's total funding to $20M to date.
