Green Monday

The Green Monday platform is a multi-pronged social venture model aimed at shifting the public towards sustainable living.

Green Monday champions the adoption of a plant-based diet for at least one day per week to combat climate change, food insecurity, public health crisis, planetary devastation, and animal suffering.

Green Monday was founded in 2012 by David Yeung and Francis Ngai. The company is headquartered in Hong Kong, Hong Kong.

 

Green Monday Holdings, part of the Green Monday Group, operates two lines of business under the OmniFoods and Green Common brands. OmniFoods makes pork alternatives and prepared frozen meals, while Green Common is a retailer and restaurant for plant-based products.

 

Green Monday has raised $70M in a new round on Sep 22, 2020. Backers included TPG’s The Rise Fund, Swire Pacific, CPT Capital, Jefferies Group, Sino Group’s Ng Family Trust, Lee Kum Kee Health Products Happiness Capital and others.
