Green Labs was founded in 2017 by Sang Hoon Shin, Scott Sungwoo Choi and Luke Donghyun Ahn. The company is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, with presence in China and Vietnam.

 

Green Labs is pioneering smart farming using Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud technology. Green Labs installs precision farming hardware systems and provide an app service for monitoring and controlling the environment through cloud service.

 

Green Labs offers services including “Farm Morning,” an app that aggregates reliable data using AI, giving more than 500,000 farmers insight into crop lifecycle, and “Sinsun Market,” a B2B fresh produce marketplace for over 10,000 enterprise buyers.

 

Green Labs also built smart farming software and hardware for farmers. The firm has expanded to China and Vietnam with its smart farm technologies since 2021, and also plans to penetrate other overseas countries.

 

Green Labs is backed by BRV Capital Management, Skylake Incuvest, Hashed, SK Square, and others. The company raised $140M in Series C round on Jan 20, 2022. This brings Green Labs' total funding to $168.1M to date. The latest transaction valued the company at a $700M pre-money.
