GO1 was founded in 2015 by Andrew Barnes, Chris Eigeland, Chris Hood and Vu Tran. The company is headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, with offices in Vietnam and San Francisco, California.
GO1 serves as the hub of the learning ecosystem, connecting to learning management systems and content providers to enable organizations to deliver their own learning content, or popular third-party content, in the systems they use every day.
Go1 has some 200,000 pieces of content available in its library. The material comes from some 1,000 publishers and creators, and includes Pearson, EdX, Coursera and Skillsoft, Blinkist, the Harvard Business Review etc.
Go1 currently works with some 5 million learners and more than 1,600 enterprises globally, with companies like Microsoft, TikTok, the University of Oxford, Suzuki, Asahi and Thrifty, as well as many smaller businesses, among its customers.
GO1 is backed by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Madrona Venture Group, Salesforce Ventures, AirTree Ventures, M12, Five Sigma, SEEK, Blue Cloud Ventures, Larsen Ventures, TEN13, and others. The company raised $100M in new round on Jun 06, 2022. This brings Go1's total funding to $383.7M to date. The latest round doubled the company's valuation to over $2B, up from previous $1B gained after a Series D raised in Jul 2021.
