Envisics is a globally renowned innovator in dynamic holography, developing new technologies for the future of head-up display (HUD) and augmented reality (AR).

Envisics was founded in 2017 by Jamieson Christmas. The company is headquartered in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, with a with a presence in the United States and Europe.

 

Envisics' branded technology leverages holography and laser-based light sources to provide the highest possible image quality to improve automotive displays and the in-car experience in partnership with automakers and tier-one suppliers.

 

Envisics brings together technologies like computer vision, machine learning, big data analytics and navigation to build hardware that integrates into vehicles to project holographic, head-up displays providing enhanced “dashboards” of information to drivers — with features like mapping, navigation guidance and hazard warnings.

 

Envisics is already working with car companies to integrate its technology into vehicles. General Motors will be the first company to deploy the Envisics 2nd Generation AR-HUD technology, debuting in the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ.  

 

Envisics is backed by Hyundai Mobis, GM Ventures, SAIC Motors, InMotion Ventures, Tarsadia Investments, Van Tuyl Companies, Stellantis Ventures, and others. The company raised $50M (£42M) in a Series C round Mar 09, 2023. This brings Envisics' total funding to $100M to date. The latest round valued the company at a $500M post-money.
