Einride

Einride is an industry-disrupting freight technology company providing end-to-end solutions for electric and autonomous shipping.

Einride is building the freight mobility grids that re-engineer the movement of goods to unlock clean capacity at scale.

Einride was founded in 2016 by Robert Falck, Filip Lilja and Linnéa Kornehed. The company is headquartered in Stockholm, with offices in Gothenburg, Sweden; New York, NY and Austin, Texas.

Einride is building freight mobility grids powered by a first-of-its-kind ecosystem – including the intelligent platform Einride Saga, electric and autonomous trucking fleets, charging infrastructure and connectivity networks. This unlocks a resilient, cost-effective future for freight.

Einride has developed an Autonomous Electric Transport (AET) solution consisting of an intelligent shipping platform and an electrically powered, driverless Einride Pods. They are known for creating the T-pod and the T-log, vehicles designed from the ground up for fully autonomous and remote operation.

Einride serves large companies such as Electrolux, GE Appliances, Lidl, DB Schenker, and Bridgestone. Einride also partnered with GE Appliances to deploy fully autonomous pods as part of a U.S. pilot.

Einride is backed by Temasek, Northzone, Barclays Europe, Maersk Growth, EQT Ventures, Soros Fund Management, Swedish pension fund AMF, NordicNinja VC, Ericsson Ventures, Polar Structure, and others. The company raised $500M in Series C (a $200M in equity and $300M in debt) financing round on Dec 07, 2022. This brings Einride's total funding to $652.3M to date.
