COWBOY

Cowboy is the connected electric bike for urban riders and continues to transform the bike and mobility industries — from point of sale to point of service.

Cowboy's mission is to power riders to map their own paths, and those of the cities they live in, through mindful movement that benefits all.

Cowboy was founded in 2017 by Adrien Roose, Karim Slaoui and Tanguy Goretti. The company is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, with operations in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, and the USA.

Cowboy is the first connected electric bike that gives people the freedom to take the streets. Cowboy enhances the riding experience by unifying intelligent technology, delightful design and meticulous customer service.

Cowboy has two models of its gear-free electric bikes for sale, the C3 and C4 (retailing for £2,490; or just under $3,000). Cowboy now has customers in more than 2,500 towns and cities across Europe and the US, transforming the bike and mobility industries from point of sale to point of service.

Cowboy launched AdaptivePower, is a proprietary software capable of detecting changes in elements such as headwind, slope inclination, and additional weight on the bike. With this information, the software then modulates the amount of power needed to keep you in the flow and at the same speed, elevating your performance.

Cowboy is backed by Index Ventures, Exor Seeds, HCVC, Tiger Global, Siam Capital, Isomer Capital, Future Positive Capital, Eothen, Isomer Opportunities Fund, and others. The company raised $1.8M (€1.57M) via crowdfunding round on Apr 28, 2023. This brings Cowbody's total funding to $149.3M to date.
