Clarilis was founded in 2011 by James Quinn and Kevin Quinn. The company is headquartered in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, United Kingdom, with an office in Singapore.

The CLARILIS™ platform aims to automate complex suites of precedents, such as Share Purchase and Facility Agreement suites with many ancillaries, many parties and complex underlying deal structures.

Clarilis ensures that law firms and in-house legal departments draft consistently high-quality documentation, to create time for solicitors to focus on what they do best – providing bespoke advice to clients and handling non-standard aspects of transactions.

 

The resulting CLARILIS™ platform and fully managed service is totally attuned to the needs of the legal profession. The platform serves a client base including Addleshaw Goddard, Baker McKenzie, National Grid and Slaughter and May.

 

Clarilis is backed by Northern Venture Capital Trust Funds (VCTs) which are managed by Mercia, Gresham House Ventures, NVM and others. The company raised £6M in Series B round on Aug 03, 2020. This brings Clarilis' total funding to £9.1M to date.
