Blue Planet was founded in 2017 by Prashant Singh, Madhujeet Chimni, Bharadwaj Chivukula, and Manavjeet Chimni. The company is headquartered in Singapore, with multiple offices around the world including India, Vietnam, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.

 

Blue Planet’s key offerings includes conversion of organic waste into energy and high-value compost using an anaerobic digestion technology. Other solutions include conversion of single-use plastics to fuel oil, recycled geopolymer concrete blocks made from inert waste and precious metal recovery from electronic waste using a non-hazardous chemical process.

 

Blue Planet complements their strategies with a holistic, whole-systems approach that can effectively modernise how your facilities work, turning waste into additional income streams while significantly cutting down your eco-footprint.

 

Blue Planet claims to have processed 4.54 Million MT waste, and has processed a total quantity of 400,000 TONS of RDF till date. Blue Planet works with leading companies and government bodies, including Nestle, TATA Motors, JLL, Indian Railways, HP, BOSCH, & Shell.

 

Blue Planet is backed by Nomura, Mizuho Asia Partners, Kaizenvest, Sysma Holdings, NEEV, OSK, and others. The company raised $6.9M in a new financing on Jun 01, 2023. This brings Blue Planet's total funding to $41.9M to date. Blue Planet has also acquired Rudra Environmental Solutions, Yasasu Green, Smart Creatives, Globecyle Holding, Virtus Concrete Solution, and Xeon Waste Managers to date.
