Babyscripts is a new model for prenatal and postpartum care, that is transforming the way expectant mothers use technology to work with their healthcare providers.

Babyscripts is the only doctor delivered digital health tool that enhances the doctor/patient relationship outside the four walls of the clinic during routine, low risk pregnancy care.

Babyscripts was founded in 2013 by Anish Sebastian and Juan Pablo Segura. The company is headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.

Babyscripts’ platform offers providers a digital patient management dashboard with data collected through connected devices such as scales, blood pressure cuffs, and a patient mobile app.

Babyscripts has multiple kits that can be targeted to patients, including blood pressure monitoring, weight and captured blood sugars. Babyscripts can automate 40% to 50% of prenatal care and alert doctors as health problems occur so that both mother and baby are healthy.

Babyscripts’s program is now being used by 75 health systems in 32 states, and the company is monitoring 250,000 women each year.

Babyscripts is backed by MemorialCare Innovation Fund, Cigna Ventures, Philips, CU Healthcare Innovation Fund, Texas Medical Center Venture Fund, StartUp Health, NueCura Partners, Inova Health System, and others.
