Arcadia

Arcadia, previously Arcadia Power, is a climate crisis-fighting tech company unlocking access to data and clean energy sources.

Arcadia's mission is to provide a simplified and equitable clean energy access to all Americans.

Arcadia was founded in 2014 by Kiran Bhatraju. The company is headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.

Arcadia breaks the fossil fuel monopoly by creating unprecedented access to energy data and renewable energy sources through its technology platform, Arc, and its community solar program.

Arcadia's Arc fuels the renewable energy revolution by democratizing access to energy data from 125 utilities nationwide, covering more than 80% of US electric utility accounts. Arcadia also manages the nation's leading community solar program.

Arcadia has more than 700MW of solar under management. Currently, more than 100 innovators — including Ford, EnelX, Aurora Solar, and STEM — across verticals such as EVs, solar, storage, and Smart Home IoT, use Arc APIs to deliver better energy experiences to their customers and decarbonize the grid.

Arcadia is backed by Tiger Global, J.P. Morgan's Sustainable Growth Equity Team, G2VP, Mitsui USA, Energy Impact Partners, Wellington Management, BoxGroup, Keyframe Capital, Macquarie Group, Camber Creek, and others. The company raised $200M in Series E round on May 10, 2022. This brings Arcadia's total funding to $370.5M to date. The latest round mints Arcadia a unicorn with a valuation of $1.45B post-money.
